Oh man. I freakin' hate that one. The artist does know what his art means, but says that because he/she doesn't want to say what it means for some reason. The bad thing about when artists say these kind of things is that they usually experience underachievement. Many people don't like to share or buy art that they don't understand or can't explain. That means the artist's name is less likely to get out there... and that means undeserved obscurity.
