Short films
I'm making this post because I hardly ever mention any of the short films I've seen because I rarely watch any. However, I watched many on this YouTube channel called Future Shorts. You will enjoy them, I'm sure about it. I will also add some other ones to the list. Feel free to post some yourself.

The Bakery Girl of Monceau (1963)

Dennis (2007) (Short version of Teddy Bear (2012))

Stories on Human Rights (2008)

Skhizein (2008)

Hedgehog in the Fog (1975) (Some people believe this to be a Latvian film but it's Russian).

The Employment (2008)

A Mouse's Tale (2008)

A Thousand Words (2009)

The Crab Revolution (2004)

An Occurence at Owl Creek Bridge (1962)

Food (1993)

The Flat (1968)

Dimensions of Dialogue (1983)

Future Shorts

You are your own future, you write your own book,
you choose the colors of your world, you choose the patterns of your words,
the past you can't erase so live for today.

RE: Short films
Some of them I haven't seen. Interesting.

Of course, I know quite a number of shorts, but some that I know aren't available to the general internet public, like Beyond Enchantment (2010) by Lawrence Jordan, and some aren't good rips compared to rips I have on my computer.

Anyway, here's some stuff that I can share with you all. Have fun trying to understand some of them:

Chickamauga (1962) by Robert Enrico (this is a VHS rip. I have the high-quality dvdrip if anyone wants to see that)

Remedial Reading Comprehension (1970) by George Landow

Nelda (1969) by Piero Bargellini

Edit: Ha, you know the Robert Enrico stuff too. Big Grin

Translations:

Egidius, where did thy go?
I long for thy, dear friend of mine.
You chose death and left me life.
Our friendship was one pure and fine
But it seemed this had to die.
Now you are lifted to the throne divine
Brighter than a sunray shines
All of salvation was given thee.
Egidius, where did thy go?
I long for thee, dear friend of mine.
You chose death and left me life.
Pray for me, as I still must endure life
And suffer in this world for now
Hold me the seat that is next to you
And give me time, as I must end my song
Some day I will follow thee, as we all do.
Egidius, where did thy go?
I long for thy, dear friend of mine.
You chose death and left me life.

Dutch:

Egidius, waer bestu bleven?
Mi lanct na di, gheselle mijn.
Du coors die doot, du liets mi tleven!
Dat was gheselscap goet ende fijn,
Het sceen teen moeste ghestorven sijn.
Nu bestu in den troon verheven,
Claerre dan der zonnen scijn:
Alle vruecht es di ghegheven.
Egidius, waer bestu bleven?
Mi lanct na di, gheselle mijn!
Du coors die doot, du liets mi tleven.
Nu bidt vor mi, ic moet noch sneven
Ende in de weerelt liden pijn.
Verware mijn stede di beneven:
Ic moet noch zinghen een liedekijn;
Nochtan moet emmer ghestorven sijn.
Egidius, waer bestu bleven?
Mi lanct na di, gheselle mijn!
Du coors die doot, du liets mi tleven.

RE: Short films
I like the short film you posted a lot Jerome! I'll watch it again but on the first watch it seems amazingly beautiful.
it was in my firefox tab for weeks.

Great Amp. That reminded me of Tsai Ming-Liang's stuff. One day I'm going to catch up on those Future Shorts from the last months.
You are your own future, you write your own book,
you choose the colors of your world, you choose the patterns of your words,
the past you can't erase so live for today.
