True words, also a way to express yourself, as a lot of bands don't have t-shirts themselves, allowing you to make a cool design for it and be the only one.

Logo of the guitarist "Steve Vai":

His guitar:

The interesting thing about this guitar is the "KONX":
The word “KONX” is an ancient alchemist mantra word that is believed to have originated with Aleister Crowley. It’s meant to be used in various incantations that are supposed to invoke disembodied entities from the abyss to materialize into the physical.

Also his albums are covered up with the symbols:

Seeing as Envy got so popular and changed their sound to make it more accessible it wouldn't surprise me that they are being used but I doubt it.

Steve Vai I had also put in my video 40 Minutes Of Illum...

Most blatant display/celebration I've ever seen.

Punk rock should mean freedom. Liking and accepting anything that you like, playing whatever you want, as sloppy as you want. As long as it's good and it has passion. - Kurt Cobain

Those mass events are the worst Dawning.

Siouxsie & The Banshees was probably one of those bands that wasn't simply being used but was in on it in one way or another. They are very popular still after many years, it was one of those "dark" poser pop bands of the 80s, which obviously attracts people. Here's just some of the symbolism I picked out because there's so much of it.
